What IL6 means for Palantir
And the many benefits it will mean for Foundry
For Palantir as a business, IL6 clearance means little, at least not as much as to the investor who has been holding for more than 2 years. While retail holders celebrate and, I like to imagine, some drink champagne from their glasses, the company just tweets the information before proceeding to post whatever new video on Foundry Chad has already shared some hours before.
The point I want to make is that Palantir sees IL-6 certification as a medal, as more proof that their software is the best in the world. And while it directly means Gotham is the best suited platform to be used at the highest level, the best part is the effect it has on Foundry, because there are big bucks to cash in.
As I just said, for me it’s just one more medal, but in this case it’s a big fat one. Do you think companies won’t notice? When an account manager or a company as a whole want to adopt a Data digest platform, who are they going to select? Snowflake (IL-2), Databricks… Or IL-6 cleared Palantir? This is the main point, for me.
Of course, Palantir will come up as a main beneficiary of this new category, especially and obviously through Gotham, and I expect hundreds of millions of new revenue dollars to come through our gates during this decade only because of IL-6 and the new contracts it will help sign.
We shall see what the future brings for us, but although we’ve seen a tremendous amount of new commercial clients / entities in Foundry, it’s true Gotham has remained pretty silent. And, don’t get me wrong, we all know Gotham is supposed to remain silent, it’s a Gov OS platform, and contracts don’t need to be made public, at least not every single one.
To sum it up, I believe IL-6 will benefit the company because of its appeal to commercial clients. Customers want to use the same platform the CIA or DoD use, and this is just the level of professionalism and security they get from using Foundry or Gotham. And I can be pretty happy with this being the case!

Signaling at its best. Let’s go!
