Virtually every Western country has benefitted from using Foundry. Be it because of vaccines development and distribution, helping refugees get out of Ukraine and effectively get them jobs and a place to live in the surrounding countries or helping in the aftermath of a deadly earthquake, Palantir has been present and ready.
I’ve also written extensively about how lots of countries are using Foundry and even Gotham, like the UAE, Spain and the United Kingdom. And Italy is just another example of Palantir’s reach in Europe, America and even non-Western countries, like some in Africa, that are supported by the US.
So how is Foundry being used in Italy? Practically the same way other countries do all around Europe. I’ve been spotting companies from a diverse variety of industries, some known and other that may come as a surprise to some.
To begin with, I want to talk about Ferrari. The company has been using Foundry to analyze data coming from Formula 1 races and has been doing so since 2017, but the news here is the fact that they seem to have adopted Foundry for their Gran Turismo branch.
That means that, other than Formula 1, now the GT competition is also benefitting from Foundry.
What about other industries? As you know, PwC appeared in my radar back in August of last year, with Italy as their first country with a branch adopting Foundry. This case has served as example for me to spot companies growing with Foundry and extending their use to more and more parts of their business, enhancing their profits as well as their reliance on Palantir software.
Then we can talk about other types of industries, like the Energy business. One of the largest energy companies of the region is also using Foundry. With operations in the UK, France, Spain, the US, Norway, Sweden and, of course, Italy, Renantis is using the Palantir software to enhance their renewables business.
So what about AI? Other than their own efforts in that area, with AIP and other offerings inside Foundry and Gotham, I’ve detected a new entity that belongs to that realm and that is doing business with Foundry.
Frontiere IO claim to be “humanizing technology” and they are an Italian based AI company that is, surprisingly enough, using Foundry, too!
The last type of business I want to talk about is the Italian banking industry use Foundry, like UniCredit which has been a client for some time now and was disclosed by a bank worker a while back. From what I’m seeing lately, I’m convinced more banks are using Foundry.
And we haven’t even started to talk about how Italian government entities use Palantir software and, believe me, they do. I’ve seen 2 Gov-related entities in the past few weeks that have signed up and now have Cloud Palantir links that are usually reserved for government Palantir software, or Gotham.
These include the “Royal Green” and “Leche” entities. And as always I’m working on decoding them and will provide updates when I do.
Italy is a big Palantir player and I’m convinced it will only grow from here. I’ll be reporting what I find, and as always you can see every individual entity inside the DataBase. There are more Italian names in there, and users can see them for themselves.
Forzaaaaa 💪 thank you Either!
Thanks!
