I’ve just finished reading The Technological Republic, authored by Dr. Alex Karp and Nicholas Zamiska. By reading the book, one could understand its big mission is to make Silicon Valley adopt measures that favor the West and make the United States a more secure and future-proof nation.
I understand a slightly different objective, and that begins with the reminder that for leaders to emerge we need a fundamental change in our culture. Maybe not to the average citizen, which would be positive, but a change of mentality in those around the decision makers is needed. The entire tech industry has to regress to the ambience of other times of war and distress, just as we are seeing today & just as what happened in the 1940s. Go back to go forward.
For the past 15 years, ever since the Great Financial Crisis, we’ve been living through a recurring event that happens after times of stress, and that is our time now, that of complacency. Not worrying about the framework that keeps us safe because a relative prosperity (which is nothing more than us burning through what our ancestors achieved) keeps us warm at night. It’s right now that a moment of awakening has likely happened, and I say likely because only the passing of time and where our culture ends up tomorrow will demonstrate where we are today.
Lots of our friends and families have fallen victim to social media toxicity and to the drama surrounding psychological damage being replicated virtually infinite times. The good thing is we can acknowledge this, assess, correct and move forward with our lives. The consequences of not recognizing that the direction at which Western society is going is a failure can be destructive. We could also tackle the loss of physical engagement and the fact that social activities have fallen into the category of political discussion, even if masked by social justice and its many putrid ramifications.
The social degeneration has been an outstanding phenomenon. One positive is that the people who are alert and conscious of the contrary directions unfolding in the world, based on the impulses of the United States and China, can take action and the speed requirements are much wider. Ergo, one can adapt to its needs with more time for processing and reflecting, compared to what the rest, the brain rot, can produce. That is, of course, in a context where the West still leads.
A new binary system is being slowly established (and it’s been cooking at low temperature ever since the 1960s) between 2 groups of people; today we call them normal and woke. What essentially translates into winners and losers, respectively. In Europe we have an abundance of woke, and it’s not that they didn’t exist before, but they, and even some of us, have began normalizing them. A disease is still a disease, even if someone is convinced they don’t suffer from it, and they will eventually succumb. In connection to this, people in Europe are forgetting what winning feels like and we need to revert this, even if virtually impossible to do. The persistence of ideological confrontation will give meaning to our life. Also, having a contrarian mindset makes the journey much more fun.
The 2024 US Presidential election yielded a very interesting awareness around health and what the proposals of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would mean to the topics of obesity, chronic diseases and child autism. The discourse was vivid and the importance of these problems cannot be understated, but classic media and the left silenced him at first, only to discredit and laugh at Kennedy’s discourse when he dropped from the race and didn’t endorse Joe Biden. There were also very interesting conversations between President Trump and RFK Jr. about the efficacy of some medical treatments available and the power that the pharmaceutical industry holds over some members of Congress. For the benefit of the West, I really wish for RFK Jr. to do as much work during these 4 years as he possibly can.
Just the other day, Elon Musk unmasked who USAID really worked for, and it’s no stranger to us PTFB folk. The only billionaire the left always forgets to mention, the one and only, George Soros, reportedly got $260M from American taxpayers.
We’ve seen this before. Some of you will remember Soros used a web of fake NGOs and fraudulent organizations against a contract between Palantir and the UK’s NHS worth £330 million. He almost got away with it.
And as he did with Palantir and many similar cases (some of which we will never know about) we see it still today with companies and governments not just in the UK and in the US, but all around Europe. One of the reasons I’m writing this article is the fact that a member of Parliament in my country was giving a very passionate speech about how organizations like Amnesty International, Oxfam and OSF were helping the world be a better place and defeat the evil billionaire Elon Musk and President Trump, alongside their fake news and whatever came to his mind and that point. I wanted to investigate him a bit. Of course, he happens to be the director of an organization primarily funded by… You guessed it, Open Society. We can’t continue to allow this to happen, and that’s why we need a profound change of culture. A realistic, pragmatic and ambitious ideological, attractive wave to spread over the youth.
Being depressed, radically left and nihilistic is considered the normal for a big chunk of the youth in Europe. The right allowed the left to win the moral war, and that is a new battle that we must now commence.
“today we call them normal and woke. What essentially translates into winners and losers, respectively”
🙌 . Great to see you back with this amazing piece!
